A Journey of Light – Video by Rashmi Singla
Natural sunlight is the source of life on earth. Man-made artificial light has been a pioneer player in the modern-day civilization. This video will take you though the history of light from the stone age to the present day.
Rashmi is a physicist and a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Structure and Dynamics of Matter working on light-matter interactions. She uses lasers to expand our knowledge on complex matters and eventually to control their behavior with ultrafast laser light.
Rashmi joined our video workshop in which Adam and Joseph helped participants to create a science video in just two days. We are amazed that this actually worked so well with our PhD students and Postdocs creating amazing videos. Watch her nice recap on the history of light from fire to LEDs.
