It allows researchers to separate proteins by size and can give information about a protein\u2019s state by using specific antibodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marie is a PhD student at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, Virology and Hygiene at the Universit\u00e4tsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE).
